About Us

The Midcontinental Chapter of the Medical Library Association (MCMLA) is a chapter of the Medical Library Association (MLA), a professional organization of individuals and institutions in the health sciences library field. The Chapter membership focuses on individuals and institutions in the US states of Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming.

MCMLA provides an opportunity for discussion of regional and local interests and for continuing education in health sciences librarianship.

MCMLA operates with bylaws, elected officers, and committees. Representatives from MCMLA also serve on various MLA committees and councils.

Free for MCMLA members

STUDENTS. Students may join the chapter for free for two years. Once you Join Us! as a student member you will be eligible to register for the meeting at the free member rate.

$30.00 per person for non-MCMLA members. Join Us! and you will be eligible to register for the meeting at the free member rate. Chapter memberships are not prorated, all memberships expire on December 31 of each year.

Join the Chapter before registering for the annual meeting to get the free member rate. Payments received by credit card will process immediately and allow you to register. If you are paying for your chapter membership by check email us to get a code that will allow you to register for the meeting at the free member rate.
